DevDex Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These terms describe the rules for accessing DevDex and using its browser-based developer tools, documentation, and output.

Acceptance and operator

By accessing or using DevDex, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service operator is identified publicly as DevDex. No company form, street address, or governing jurisdiction is stated or implied by these terms.

Permitted use

You may use DevDex for lawful personal, educational, and commercial development work, subject to these terms and any rights that apply to the data, code, images, or other material you use.

  • Use the tools through normal website functionality and reasonable automated access that does not disrupt the service.
  • Review output before relying on it, especially in production or security-sensitive work.
  • Comply with applicable laws, licenses, contracts, and third-party rights.

Prohibited conduct

  • Do not use DevDex to violate law, facilitate harm, infringe rights, or process material you are not authorized to use.
  • Do not attack, probe, overload, scrape abusively, bypass access or security controls, distribute malware, or interfere with the service or other visitors.
  • Do not misrepresent DevDex output as verified, certified, professionally reviewed, or guaranteed by DevDex.
  • Do not use the service in a way that exposes another person’s secrets or personal data without an appropriate basis and authorization.

Your responsibilities

You control the content entered into the tools and the decisions made from their output. You are responsible for lawful use, suitable backups, independent testing, protection of credentials and devices, and review of results. Do not enter passwords, private keys, access tokens, production records, or other sensitive material unless you have assessed and accepted the risks of processing it in your browser.

DevDex tools can format, decode, transform, compare, or generate information, but those actions do not establish authenticity, safety, validity, ownership, or fitness for a particular purpose.

No warranties

DevDex is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable rules, DevDex makes no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, accurate, compatible with every browser, or suitable for a particular purpose.

You use the service and its output at your own discretion and risk. Nothing on DevDex is legal, security, financial, compliance, or other professional advice.

Service availability and liability

Features may be corrected, changed, limited, or unavailable without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable rules, DevDex is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the service, third-party services, loss of data, or reliance on output. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited remain unaffected.

Third-party services

DevDex may display Google AdSense advertising or link to third-party sites and references. Third-party services are controlled by their respective providers and may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, cookies, and availability. A link, ad, or reference does not mean DevDex guarantees or endorses the third party, its content, or its practices.

Intellectual property

DevDex and its original interface, branding, documentation, and site content are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual-property rules. Third-party names, libraries, standards, and referenced materials remain the property of their respective holders and may have separate licenses.

You retain whatever rights you hold in material you enter and output produced from that material. Using DevDex does not transfer third-party rights to you, and DevDex does not claim ownership of your tool input merely because it is processed in your browser.

Suspension and termination

DevDex may block, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties; address abuse or security concerns; comply with applicable obligations; or respond to a material breach of these terms. You may stop using DevDex at any time and can clear locally stored site data through your browser.

Changes to the service or terms

DevDex may update the service and these terms. Revised terms will be posted on this page with a new effective or last-updated date. If a change is material, an additional notice may be provided where appropriate. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them; otherwise, stop using the service.
